Our History

We provide services and programmes dedicated to making communities safer.

Originating from the Government Safer Cities initiative in 1996, Safer Communities (formerly Safe in Tees Valley and Safe in Teesside) has been a catalyst for change and innovation in community safety.

We are based in Stockton-On-Tees, but operate across the North East. Our aim is to be a centre of excellence in community safety, and we are dedicated to improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality support, interventions and programmes that deliver significant and life changing difference for people who engage in our services.
