We provide services and programmes dedicated to making communities safer.

We started our journey in 1996  as Safe in Teesside, later becoming Safe in Tees Valley. As our geographical reach and service delivery increased across the North-east, we became Safer Communities; a catalyst for change and innovation in community safety.

We work in partnership to make communities safer, support victims of crime and create opportunities to change people’s lives for the better.

  • Provide a positive future for young people.
  • Support victims of crime and help them to recover.
  • Assist offenders to recognise the impact of their offending and to make amends.
  • Create safe and sustainable communities by helping to reduce crime and the fear of it.
